Faiham Ebna Sharif (25.12.1985 – ) is a freelance Journalist and Photographer. He is based in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. He holds honors and master’s degree in International Relations from Dhaka University, a One Year Diploma in Photography from Counter Foto, Bangladesh. Currently he is an adjunct faculty in Counter Foto – Department of Photography and contributing multimedia journalist at www.bdnews24.com. Before taking up photography as profession, Faiham worked as Reporter cum Newsroom Editor in a national news & currents affairs TV channel. He also worked for different international and national fiction and non-fiction productions like documentary, feature film, reality show. Faiham received Magnum Foundation Fund 2017 for his project titled ‘Story of Modern Day Bonded Labor: Tea Garden Workers of Bangladesh’. He is a fellow of ‘Dutch Visitors Program on Human Rights’. At the same time the title of the project ‘Story of Modern Day Bonded Labor: Tea Garden Workers of Bangladesh.
